Mr. Meowgi is one of those very special seniors that instantly capture your heart. He came to Pets Alive all beaten down by a rough life and is now all aglow with good health and happiness from being taken care of and loved. He loves attention and affection from all people and cats alike. He has so gladly walked away from whatever his life was before. He is simply basking in the glory of having finally achieved the life he knew he should have always had. He is FIV+ but doesn't require any extra care other than your love.

Rafael is under a year and a very unusual and very cute mix. He seems to be a terrier basset hound mix. Rafael does not show well in his kennel, but take him out, and he is a completely different dog. He is very attentive to his handler, food motivated, and super affectionate. Rafael has tested well with dogs on leash and seems shy of cats (formal cat testing still to be done). Head down to Islip Animal Shelter and meet this guy. You won't be sorry.

Donavan is a mix breed puppy of about 14 weeks with Donavon Pinscher traits. He is super friendly with people and loves to climb in your lap for a cuddle. Donovan has to be the only animal in the home and guard dog breed experienced owner is a must. Let's not let this poor guy grow up in the shelter.
