Dock Docket

July 2026

Big Rock Recap

The 68th annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Fishing Tournament was one for the books! With a purse of over $9M and a record breaking marlin winning first place, weighing in at 919.9 lbs.

Thursday night, for Rock the Docks we had the local reggae band The Green Room and had a huge turnout!

The docks ran super smoothly with our outstanding dockhands making sure the captains and crews had everything they needed during the big week.

Commercial Updates

Continuing with our commercial dock upgrades, we have a beautiful new railing and new decking installed. The Town of Beaufort Public Works Team has done a great job on these improvements. The new decking looks great, and provides safety enhancements for our commercial operators and their guests.

If you haven't yet taken a cruise with one of the many ferries and tour boats, we highly recommend trying it out this summer! They offer sunset cruises, tiki tours, and ferries to the nearby islands.

A little something for everyone!

4th of July!!

This weekend will be one of the busiest boating weekends of the year! We would like to remind our visitors coming by water to enjoy downtown Beaufort that they are welcome to tie up along the seawall during the 4th of July weekend. Seawall spaces are first come, first served and the time limit is three hours.

Please avoid docking temporarily in slips or on the T-heads. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to stop by our office or give us a call 252-728-2503.

We hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend and we hope to see y'all downtown! The 4th of July Parade is at 11am on Front Street, and Fireworks are from 6pm-10pm at Gallants Channel.
