Summer keeps improving, and we hope you’re soaking up every moment on your boat. One of the best things about participating in our boating community remains the wealth of knowledge and camaraderie on the docks. There’s always someone ready to lend a hand.
Friendship, fun, and safety go hand in hand. While enjoying your time on the water or working on your boat, take a moment to notice your surroundings. A simple nod or wave to a passerby can show that we all look out for each other.
Do you know your dock neighbors’ names? Hearing your name is one of the sweetest sounds, and it’s much easier to build connections when we know each other by name. Here's a tip you'll enjoy: Next time you meet a fellow dock
neighbor, ask for their name and sprinkle in a compliment for a bit of fun! For example, 'Great to meet you, Chris! That hat is seriously cool!' This playful approach makes their name easier to remember.
Dana Point Harbor is the crown jewel of our boating community. Together, we rise and fall with the tides, enjoying the arrival of new boaters and wishing our departing friends fair winds and following seas.
Amid the ongoing harbor renovation, we remain committed to our vision of a better Dana Point Harbor that preserves its friendliness and affordability for boaters and visitors alike. The DPBA is entirely behind our legal team’s efforts, and we urge you to stay engaged by contributing generously and communicating with your local county supervisor. Your donations and letters are crucial to our cause.
We’ll keep you informed as legal actions progress. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. Until then, we wish you fair weather, fun times, and the continued resolve to protect this beloved recreational haven for all.
Happy Boating
