Welcome to Documented Faith 2018 Week 3
If you are new to Documented Faith, I encourage you to take a minute to read what it is all about here . If you are returning welcome back and THANK you all for being here.

Several of you have had issues opening emails, downloading emails and/or receiving emails. Please note that if you have EVER "unsubscribed" to receiving an email from me then in order to start getting them again, you will need to re-subscribe. It is actually against the law for me to add in your name if you ever unsubscribed and will not allow me to do it. How's that for protection? If you are reading this email right now, than that is a good sign that you are not having any issues! Whew, thank you and Amen!
Please remember that the verses as well as a link to my blog and a link to all of the Documented Faith Products are located at www.documentedfaith.com

I look forward to a new year with you and send you love and cheers for a blessed and bright 2018,
Stephanie Ackerman
The heart behind Documented Faith 2018’s theme is “Yes & Amen"

"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God."
  2 Corinthians 1:20

Week 3  1/14 – 1/20
God promises every spiritual blessing in Christ

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ . Ephesians 1:3

NIV Notes:
In Christ, we have all the benefits of knowing God. Because we have an intimate relationship with Jesus, we can enjoy these blessings now. The “Heavenly realm” means that these blessings are eternal.

Q: What is Documented Faith Mixed Media Monthly.

A: The Mixed Media Monthly concept is a way to "step it up a notch" and is something more than just reading a verse in your weekly email. I see it as a collaboration of sorts and an example of what happens when art & faith collide. All of the art, ideas and verses for each month will be provided via and YOU put it into action by downloading, printing, cutting, gluing and creating...OR simply downloading, printing, trimming and sharing.

To read about this and get the $52.00 price for THE ENTIRE YEAR ( that's 1.00 a week people!) go here: Documented Faith Mixed Media Monthly

The Core Purpose of Documented Faith

It is not about religion. It is about a personal relationship with Jesus.
It is about developing the habit of spending time reflecting, reading, worshiping, learning and memorizing God’s word in a creative way.
Documented Faith was created to remind, encourage and inspire each other to record, illustrate, document and journal our everyday moments, how God is working in us and through us, what Bible verses speak to us and how they apply to our situations, reminders and inspirational quotes and most importantly, how our relationship with Jesus and with others is growing.
*There is no start date, no finish date, no right way or wrong way to do it...just the gentle, persistent encouragement in the way of an email with a verse that lands in your inbox once a week.

The Nicene Creed
We believe in one God,the Father, the Almighty maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father,God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried.On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

*The reference to "the holy catholic Church" in both the Nicene and Apostle's Creeds refers
to the universal church, not the denomination.
