Dogs Playing for Life Workshop - June 8 & 9

Harbor Humane Society
Have you heard of dog playgroups?  Harbor Humane Society invites shelter staff and volunteers from throughout the state to their free  Dogs Playing for Life workshop to be held  June 8-9 at their shelter in We st Olive, north of Holland.

Dogs Playing for Life
The nationally-re
cognized Dogs Playing For Life program  "increases morale among both shelter staff and volunteers. Happy, healthy, and well-adjusted dogs are more appealing to adopters, and easier to care for. Staff and volunteers will be thrilled when length of stay and euthanasia rates are decreased." (Entire program  brochure is available here.)

Lana Carson, shelter director of Pound Buddies is Muskegon, writes "This is awesome! We had Dogs Playing for Life come in last year... It was incredible! We have been doing Dogs Playing for Life since June of 2016 and it has changed everything we do for the dogs and everything we know about the dogs! We cannot recommend this program enough! Anyone who is in sheltering needs to attend this training! We'll be there!"
