First and foremost, Happy Pride Month! Each week, Urban Triage will recognize a pioneer from the LGBTQ+ community that has/is addressing the intersectionality's of being Black and Queer.
June has started off with nothing short of amazing support and fun fundraising opportunities for Urban Triage! Not only is it Juneteenth, companies like Delta Beer Lab, are coordinating with The Boneyard and The Biegarten at Olbrich Park, contributing a portion of their proceeds to Urban Triage this month! Bierock is also throwing a Juneteenth fundraiser with 18th Street Brewery, a Black owned brewery in Indiana the Juneteenth weekend. See the full list of June's fundraising dates below! We hope to see you there!
We are planning for the start of our Supporting Healthy Black Families Cohort 10, which begins June 21st. Let your friends and family know of this free and impactful workgroup. We are also happy to announce that we are offering two information session/sample classes to those who are interested in learning more about our Co-Conspirator Workgroup.
Last but not least, we have Urban Triage branded Juneteenth T-shirts! Orders yours today and represent Juneteenth and your favorite Community Non Profit! Prices of T-shirts are only $25 and all funds go toward supporting Urban Triage programming.

This week, we are building raised beds and volunteers are encouraged to sign up! We are still in need of two cattle fence panels to be used as framework in our raised bed garden. If you or someone you know can be a helpful resource, please reach out!
Urban Triage also has several volunteer opportunities available. Get in touch with us today at info@urbantriage.org to start your journey towards meaningful community work.
There are still a few items on our SHBA Wish List that will help the progression of this program. View our SHBA Wish List and consider donating today!
During our first SHBA Workgroup, we started the day with a brief walk through the Natural Path Sanctuary. Afterwards, we observed an interesting millipede while weeding carrots before finishing gardening. Each participant prepared and took home their own containers with tools and resources to grow on their own!
