Dogwood Days of Praise

This week, we continue our annual Dogwood Days of Praise , which recognizes our amazing Dogwood teachers, admin and staff. This is a great way to encourage your favorite Dogwood teachers. We would love to recognize everyone in the building!

This year we will open each day with a Facebook and Bloomz post for a different group of teachers and staff and cover everyone over 12 days.

If you would like to share something praiseworthy about a Dogwood teacher, admin or staff member, simply post your praise as a comment on the appropriate day. Thanks for helping us recognize our fabulous teachers and staff this holiday season!

As a part of the Days of Praise, please also volunteer to donate workroom supplies for our fabulous teachers and teacher assistants.  To view needs and sign up, click here.

Shout Outs

The Dogwood community is the best!! There are so many people who serve our students, teachers and families so well that we would like to recognize them more publicly throughout the year. If you have a shout out for a student, teacher, parent, or administrator any time throughout the year, please email it to dogwoodelempto@gmail.com.

Audra Bass planned an absolutely amazing Dolphin Tale Ball for our girls!  Thank you to Audra and all of the parents who volunteered by sending in items, decorating for the Ball, and cleaning up after.   It was a fun-filled evening of dancing, crafts, yummy treats and quality time with loved ones! Thank you to Mr. Simons, the best DJ in Gtown!  Additionally, thanks to Mrs. Price, Mrs. Nelson, Ms. Curtis, Ms. Boyd, Ms. Vergho, Mrs. O'Brien, Mrs. Boyce, and Mrs. Martens for helping with the Ball!

Thank you to Mr. Jason Manuel for speaking to our parents at the Dogwood PTO meeting.
