Dolphins Choose To Be Nice

Our school motto "Choose to be NICE", reinforces our GMSD Above the Line program.  All Dogwood teachers and staff members are encouraged to promote positive behavior by recognizing students who are demonstrating positive social and emotional learning.
The criteria for selecting students is based on having demonstrated the following characteristics:
Teachers or staff members may recognize a student for choosing to be NICE by giving them a dolphin dollar.  On Friday mornings, students who have received a dolphin dollar will be called to the cafeteria to sign the Choose to be NICE board.  These students will be recognized during Friday afternoon announcements and in the Dolphin Digest. Additionally, Choose to be NICE recipients will receive a reward at the end of every nine weeks.
Please help the counseling department reinforce the importance of being NICE and how it shapes character and promotes becoming a world changer.

Your service allows our school nurse to attend to more urgent issues. You can sign up for one or multiple days or for a shorter time frame if you can't cover an entire shift.

Library volunteers are needed on Mondays and Wednesdays in the library.
