Book Fair and Literacy Night

The Dogwood Book Fair will be open from 8:30 am until 7:00 pm!  Come during the day to shop for gifts, or shop as a family after school or that evening. That evening (beginning at 4:30), students may visit the Reading Fair to see book reports by fellow students, the first grade pumpkin book characters, show off our fabulous library to their family, and drop in their grade level language arts room during the 5:30-6:30 pm time slot for Literacy Night.

If you can't make it to the Book Fair, you can shop online!  Online Book Fair

Dogwood Literacy Night will be held from 5:30-6:30.  Dogwood Literacy Night will offer parents an opportunity to explore the literacy curriculum and strategies at Dogwood with tips to encourage reading and literacy skills at home. You may come and go as you please.  There will be a map guided treasure hunt to make sure you don't miss anything and earn a reward!

Also, Lickity Split will be available for a sweet treat from 4:30 til 7:00. AND Marcos is generously offering a Spirit Night for us that evening, so you can order your dinner to pick up at Marco's when you leave the Book Fair or have it delivered.

VOLUNTEER: Do you have 1.5 hours to give to support this event? We need you! Check out our fun and easy shifts. A little time makes a big difference. Click here to volunteer!
