Run It - Bike It - Hike It

Doin' the Dirt - Through the Gut

COVENTRY, BROWNINGTON, IRASBURG, BARTON. WEST GLOVER, VERMONT: Fall's coming! One of our favorite seasons in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Stacking wood. Sharpening our skis. Waiting on the Big Snow. Doin' The Dirt through The Gut at Fly to Pie. We run. We bike. We hike. We savor some of the finest Fall Foliage in the world and, at the finish, enjoy one of the best pizza parties in Vermont at Parker Pie with Hill Farmstead Beer on tap.

20% of all adult fees go directly to the Halo Foundation. which provides financial assistance and support to cancer patients and their families.

Something for Everyone We offer up one of the most challenging and spectacular, "vista-riddled" Marathons east of the Mississippi. Along with it are several other distances: the 17 Mile Iconoclast. the 13.5 Mile Half Marathon, and the 10 km. The longer courses all start at the Northeast Kingdom International Airport in Coventry. The 10 km starts at the Irasburg Common. They all end up at Parker Pie in West Glover with all the pizza you can eat and a Shuttle back to the start provided by our friends at Jay Peak.

The Family Challenge invites families of three to four to bike the Half Marathon. We love seeing rat packs of kids out on the course, enjoying the challenge, the foliage, the pizza. and the awesome Shuttle Bus ride back to the start, which we've been told is one of the best parts of the day.

Celebrating 11 years of Fly to Pie - We started our pizza pie loving event in 2013 with three riders. We've grown steadily since then. Although the pandemic set us back, we've returned and are looking forward to another great day Doin' the Dirt through The Gut at the height of Fall Foliage.

Online registration is open through October 2nd at 5 pm. This year we are accepting day of walk on registrations.
