DSA UPDATE

Announcing the 2023 Distinguished Service Awards Honorees and Winners

Celebrating and supporting veteran innovation and business impact within our Region was the theme of this year's Distinguished Service Awards, held last week at the Army Navy Country Club. It was an event brimming with ceremony and respect that looked to the future as veterans continue driving our Region forward.

Through rousing, heartfelt speeches, each of this year's Awardees delivered a message that conveyed veterans' significance within our community. DSA Keynote speaker Dr. Linda Singh, Major General (Retired), Founder & CEO, Kaleidoscope Affect, LLC, spoke on the importance of serving, not only in the military but also in life, and living each day to its fullest. Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree James Schenck, President & CEO of PenFed Credit Union, shared how his lifetime of service has helped him become a better leader in business. Veteran Advocate of the Year Karen R. Lowe, Corporate Director, Army Customer Relations, Northrop Grumman, expressed her deep respect and desire to support veterans.
