Introducing our C-Suite Roundtables

The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce has a reputation as an organization where our region's leadership meets to tackle critical business issues impacting our community. Our Chamber work ranges from our advocacy in Richmond to ongoing programs focused on workforce and DE&I issues. Yet no matter where the work takes us, our efforts are always on behalf of our members: regional business leaders who seek peer-to-peer connections and solutions to their day-to-day challenges.

With our members in mind, we recently began a new program geared toward our members' unique business needs. By invitation-only and member-exclusive, our C-Suite Roundtables are designed to be smaller, more private events that encourage connection-building and discussion at the elite level.

Held over lunch or breakfast, each Roundtable will feature a fellow regional leader as a keynote speaker. Our first few events featured Christopher Lane, President and CEO of VHC Health (formerly Virginia Hospital Center), Vik Malhotra, Senior Partner; Chairman of the Americas, McKinsey & Company, and Kathy Albarado, Founder, Helios HR.

Our next Roundtable will be held over lunch on March 8th and will feature B. Frank Gupton, Ph.D., Floyd D. Gottwald Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemical and Life Science Engineering at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Engineering. Frank will not only share lessons learned in creating Virginia's Pharma Cluster Coalition, but also how pharma itself is influencing our greater workforce, the economy, and our own national stockpile.

If you would like to add your name to our C-Suite Roundtable list, please contact Carmen Sevilla, Chamber Senior Manager, Member Engagement, at csevilla@novachamber.org.
