Introducing the 2024 Distinguished Service Award Awardees and Finalists

Veterans of the armed forces have contributed significantly to innovation and the establishment of long-lasting, impactful businesses in our business community. In recognition of their unwavering commitment and selfless dedication to maintaining the stability and vitality of our community, NVC will once again host its esteemed Distinguished Service Awards on September 17th. The DSA is the premier event in the Greater Washington Region, honoring veteran-owned businesses for their leadership and contributions to veteran achievement.

 

Finalists for the 2024 DSA have been named, along with the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award honoree, Tom Donohue, the 2024 Veteran Advocate of the Year awardee, Andrea Inserra, and the 2024 Employee Resource Group of the Year awardee, RTX VETS. This year's Distinguished Service Awards will be held at a powerful morning ceremony held on September 17th at the Army Navy Country Club. Registration is open here. NVC and PSC Revealed the 2024 GovCon Finalists

NVC and PSC hosted the Greater Washington GovCon Awards finalist reception last Thursday, with an amazing turnout! Attendees celebrated finalists and honorees, with winners to be announced live at the prestigious 22nd Annual Awards Gala on November 6th. Every year, the GovCon Awards name Contractors of the Year in four revenue categories and Executives of the Year in three, and members are encouraged to keep an eye on important updates from NVC and PSC.

The Committee for Dulles has chosen Barry Biggar, President and CEO of Visit Fairfax, as the 2024 recipient of the Tower of Dulles Award, as well as Northwest Federal Credit Union as a recipient of the David A.
