The Presidential Leadership Scholars program has announced its 10th annual class, honoring 57 distinguished leaders from across the nation. Among this year’s cohort are two valued NVC members, Kevin Schmiegel, Co-Founder and CEO of ZeroMils, and Erica Shelton, Assistant Professor and Emergency Medicine Physician at Johns Hopkins University. Selected through a rigorous process, Scholars will embark on an immersive learning experience with former U.S. presidents and top leadership experts. NVC congratulates Kevin and Erica on this prestigious recognition!

George Mason University (20-5, 11-1) pulled off a thrilling 76-74 overtime victory against Saint Louis, extending its 10-game winning streak and marking the program’s best-ever A-10 start. Now 1.5 games ahead of VCU, the Patriots set their sights on Saturday’s Homecoming battle vs. Saint Joseph’s, live on national TV.

In 1969, NVC played a pivotal role in supporting George Mason University's expansion, advocating for its separation from the University of Virginia and its focus on offering specialized master's and doctoral programs to meet regional business needs.
