NEW MEMBER OPPORTUNITY

BECOME A CHAMBER CHAMPION

At NVC, our strength lies in our network. Every connection and collaboration contributes to our business community’s vitality. We’re excited to introduce Chamber Champions, recognizing members who actively grow our network by referring prospective members.

Chamber Champions are more than referrers; they’re the architects of a thriving business ecosystem. By introducing new businesses to NVC, you expand our reach, foster collaboration, and create fresh opportunities for all members. Your referrals strengthen NVC’s influence, encourage partnerships, and unlock new avenues for growth.

Refer five businesses that lead to meetings with our membership team, and you’ll gain exclusive opportunities to be featured in a highlight video interview, showcase your leadership, and be recognized as a key driver of NVC’s success.

The strength of NVC lies in its members. Your referrals don’t just bring in new businesses—they cultivate a thriving, interconnected community.

NVC CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

WHERE ARE THEY NOW?...

Above: Todd Rowley, Six-time winner of the annual membership drive, securing a coveted trip each year while generating $10,000 annually in new Chamber memberships for the Fairfax Chamber—earning the prestigious “Fairfax Club Member” title.

"Serving as NVC Chairman was an unforgettable experience, but my journey with the Chamber started long before that. In my 20s, when NVC was just a small office in Merrifield, Virginia, with only a handful of members, I saw firsthand how the business community has evolved to what it is today. It was here I found a network that shaped my career, from witnessing key milestones like the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) and Leadership Fairfax grow into influential institutions, to navigating the challenges of COVID-19. These moments reinforced the power of connection and resilience, and the relationships I built still shape me today.

Now, as a regional banking officer at Old Dominion National Bank, I’m still driven by that same sense of purpose. Serving on Virginia Tech University’s Pamplin Business School’s board, I played a central role in launching a 2+2 BIT Cyber degree conferred entirely in Northern Virginia, to the formation of the first Cloud Computing degree program in the U.S.at NVCC. These programs provide students with the skills needed to succeed in rapidly evolving fields, and during the pandemic, we expanded college access by offering high school students free college courses through dual enrollment. My time at NVC taught me the importance of leadership, innovation, collaboration and giving back—lessons I am pleased will be carried forward to create opportunities for the next generation and beyond."
