REGIONAL UPDATE

This Giving Tuesday, support the Chamber Foundation and your fellow members

Today marks a special day on the calendar: Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to philanthropy and supporting non-profit organizations that work tirelessly to improve our communities and the world. From initiatives focused on workforce development to those addressing the critical issue of hunger, our Region's non-profits play a pivotal role in providing essential support and resources.

One of the key areas in which the Chamber's own 501c(3)non-profit, the Northern Virginia Chamber Foundation, makes a significant impact is workforce development. The Chamber's Foundation is actively sourcing solutions to our Region's workforce challenges through original research and collaborative programming, such as the Northern Virginia Workforce Index and Greater Washington Apprentice Network. More information about the Foundation and its work can be found here.

Last week, we encouraged our Chamber members to submit their goodwill stories for inclusion in our upcoming Positively NOVA! Winter issue. If you're interested in supporting Regional non-profits this Giving Tuesday or would like to feature your organization in this special issue but haven't found a community-based opportunity yet, consider contacting your fellow Chamber members listed below.
