GOVCON UPDATE

Announcing the 2022 GovCon Awards Finalists

The Finalists for the 20th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards have been announced! Presented by the Chamber and the Professional Services Council, the GovCon Awards, dubbed the "Academy Awards of Government Contracting," represent one of the most prestigious wins in our region.

This year’s gala is of particular importance as it represents the event’s 20th anniversary. The GovCon Awards were founded in 2002 following the 9/11 terrorist events to honor the exceptional work of the leaders and businesses in the region's government contracting sector. The GovCon Awards recognize Contractors of the Year in four revenue categories and Executives of the Year in three revenue categories.

“Each year the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards recognize the pre-eminent leaders in our government contracting community. This year’s finalists have an additional distinction of being named during the event’s 20th anniversary,” said Julie Coons, Chamber president and CEO. “As with other years, the selection process is highly competitive, and all finalists should be very proud of this achievement.”

Join us at the November 2nd Gala at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner where we will announce this year's winners! Public registration will open on October 7th.
