What are our region's workforce trends - you tell us! We're conducting research on this very topic as part of our 2022 Northern Virginia Workforce Index. Conducted in partnership with the Northern Virginia Chamber Foundation and the Northern Virginia Community College, the 2022 report will be available in January at the Chamber’s annual Economic Outlook Conference. NOVA DEI Connects welcomes all members interested in advancing their knowledge and understanding of successful DEI strategies to join us and each other in this opportunity.
Each month the network will meet via Zoom to speak with a leader who will share their DEI best practices and programs.

The 2023 Legislative Agenda, Advocacy and You

Economic Outlook: The Future of Work

The Chamber and the Northern Virginia Chamber Foundation in partnership with the Northern Virginia Community College have entered the second year of a longitudinal research effort, The Northern Virginia Workforce Index. On January 25th, we will host an Economic Outlook: The Future of Work event where the 2022 Northern Virginia Workforce Index results will be revealed. Dr. Anne Kress, President of the Northern Virginia Community College, will present key research study results and will be followed by a moderated panel discussion of local business leaders discussing critical intelligence on trends defining the region’s current and future workforce. The study will provide an outlook on hiring, retention, and professional development trends among employers in the region as well as a long-term view of how business’ workforce prospects and practices are shifting and expected to evolve.

Recovery Program Solutions of Virginia (RPSV) is in urgent need of warm clothing and coats in adult sizes, gloves, scarves, hats, hand warmers, blankets, and sleeping bags for those without a home in our community. We also need belts. You are welcome to bring items by our program sites across the region. You can find our centers here.
