The Chamber and the Northern Virginia Chamber Foundation in partnership with the Northern Virginia Community College have entered the second year of a longitudinal research effort, The Northern Virginia Workforce Index. On January 25th, we will host an Economic Outlook: The Future of Work event where the 2022 Northern Virginia Workforce Index results will be revealed. Dr. Anne Kress, President of the Northern Virginia Community College, will present key research study results and will be followed by a moderated panel discussion of local business leaders discussing critical intelligence on trends defining the region’s current and future workforce. The study will provide an outlook on hiring, retention, and professional development trends among employers in the region as well as a long-term view of how business’ workforce prospects and practices are shifting and expected to evolve.
