Policy Committee to Develop New Tax, Legal Positions for Legislative Agenda
Now is a great time to join the Northern Virginia Chamber’s Policy Committee. The General Assembly established a new Joint Subcommittee on Tax Policy during session this year and the Chamber will need to bolster its long-standing positions in support of a fair and affordable tax system in the Commonwealth. The Chamber will also need to renew its support for a business-friendly legal environment in Virginia in light of continued pressure from policymakers to erode it. This will be a busy year for the Policy Committee and we need your engagement! Please contact our Vice President of Government Affairs Clayton Medford at cmedford@novachamber.org if you’d like to weigh in on these topics or learn more about the Policy Committee.
