Veterans and Military Business Council: Hiring - T he Business Case for Hiring Veterans
April 29th | 9-10AM | Webinar
Imagine finding a source for educated and experienced employees who are more productive, achieve promotions at a faster rate, and are less likely to leave a position. Does this sound too good to be true? It’s not! These employees not only exist, they’re readily available through our nation’s Veteran population.

Join us for this exciting webinar focused on hiring Veterans. It will be broken into 3 parts, with each covering a different aspect of the Veteran Employee process:
  • Charlie Miles with PenFed will discuss the Business Case for hiring Veterans.

  • David Muir with EasterSeals will discuss Veterans as a positive impact on the organization.

  • Ross Koenig and Kenneth Lyles will cover reading a military resume.
Join three dynamic speakers as they discuss how to redefine nonprofit sustainability during this current crisis while taking into account what's needed to stabilize an organization for both the short and long term. Specifically, they will cover:
  • Sustainability in your fundraising strategy during this crisis

  • How to position your organization for success post-crisis.

  • How leadership can maintain the organization’s team culture and well-being while working remotely and how to leverage that culture in talking with donors.

  • How scenario planning can drive nonprofit sustainability and fundraising growth.
In our Inaugural GovCon CEO Symposium we will focus on growing through Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Partnership. This is an event designed for—and attended by—accomplished, successful C-Suite professionals and will cover:
  • Strategic reasons to leverage acquisitions in your growth strategy

  • Creating a framework for your M&A strategy, including target identification

  • How to fund an acquisition: self, debt, investor

  • Building an effective deal team (internal, legal, bankers, accountants, advisors, etc.)

  • Integration tips to maximize value

  • When to walk away from a deal
