Meet Nichole Jackson, APEX Accelerator Specialist

Nichole Jackson joined Arizona APEX Accelerators in January 2019. She is located at the AZ APEX office at Gateway and Mesa Community Colleges.

Q. What drew you to AZ APEX Accelerator originally? And how has it changed since? My background was working in the private sector assisting minority businesses. I wanted to learn more about the government sector and transitioned to PTAC at that time. We've seen many changes, especially our name from PTAC to APEX Accelerators. I'm still getting used to the name change.

Q. What do you find the most challenging at AZ APEX? We are understaffed at the moment, but we can handle the workload.

Q. What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most? Meeting new people every day and assisting them through the hurdles they face.

Q. If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Chicken fried rice. I love, love rice.

Q. What is your dream vacation? Out of my top 5 dream vacations, my #1 would be a couple of weeks vacationing in the Maldives
