Hi Dolphin Family!
Can you believe our kids' summer vacation is coming to an end? In just a few weeks, they will be back in the classroom! A few important announcements:
First, if you did not pre-purchase your child's school supplies via EPI before the deadline in June, please check the
School Supplies page of the PFA Website
for the appropriate grade-level list of school supplies. Each child needs these supplies to start the school year!
Next, please make note of all the "back-to-school" dates above -- there is A LOT going on the first week of school! I look forward to meeting some new faces at the TK/Kinder Welcome Picnic, the two Back-to-School Nights we have planned, Registration Day for Grades 1-5, AND the PFA Parent Welcome Breakfast on the first day of school (I told you it was a lot!). If you ever forget a date, the
2018-19 PFA Calendar is located on Google Drive
(it's a working document, so be sure to bookmark it and check back often!).
Last, be sure to save the date! Sunday, September 16th from 8-10AM is our "Back-to-School Breakfast" FUN-raiser at The Stand Calabasas! We can't wait to see everyone at The Stand, which opened earlier this summer! Tickets are limited, so don't delay...

Importance of Bay Laurel's Annual Fund Drive (AFD)

Do you want your child to have school supplies, an art program, music, laptops/ipads, a computer lab, library enrichment, aides for the school yard, and so much more? Then don’t forget to pay AFD…this money is crucial to ensuring that Bay Laurel stays on top and in the 21st century.
Our Annual Fund Drive kicks off online at

Bay Laurel is kicking the school year off with...PANCAKES & BREAKFAST BURRITOS?!? :)
The Dolphin nation will descend upon The Stand Calabasas for a Back-to-School Breakfast Fundraiser!
Tickets are $14 per person, and a percentage is donated back to the Bay Laurel PFA! Ticket price includes: house-made pancakes, breakfast burritos, scrambled eggs, bacon, Stand potatoes, coffee & OJ!

Fall Enrichment Classes - Register Beginning 8/22

Registration for all Fall 2018 Enrichment Classes will begin on Wednesday, August 22nd (the first day of school). Don't delay, register now to ensure your child's space in their preferred class(es)! Registration for Fall 2018 will close on Friday, 9/7/18.

Beginning in Fall 2018, the Boys & Girls Club will be offering Morning Care from 7:00-7:45 AM each morning for $50/month.

JAXX Presents: "Mary Poppins" - Register Now!
|

Does your child love to ACT, SING, or DANCE? Register them today for Bay Laurel's fall musical production of "Mary Poppins", proudly presented by JAXX Theatricals!
Participating students in grades 2-5 will receive professional instruction from the JAXX staff in theater, music, and dance! Auditions for "Mary Poppins" will take place on Tuesday, August 28, by appointment only from 3:00-7:00 PM (in 5-minute increments).
