Did you know March is Asset Management Awareness Month? Asset Management Awareness Month is a perfect reminder for organizations to
learn how improved asset and facility management practices can contribute to the overall mission and revenue goals. Do you think of your HVAC system as an asset? We hope you don’t see it as a liability. If you do, let’s talk about turning that around for your business.
With Supply Chain Issues and Summer Approaching, Now is the Time to Ensure Your Chillers Are in Top Operating Condition
Chillers are essential to keeping indoor environments cool, as well as chilling manufacturing processes and machinery. And with ongoing supply chain issues, it’s important to plan up to six months ahead for replacement parts. Your chiller’s compressor, evaporator, condenser, and thermal expansion valve components need to be evaluated periodically for service or maintenance needs. Contact us to schedule an appointment!
Indoor Sports And Healthy IAQ
With schools in the midst of the spring semester, it is important to maintain excellent air quality in the buildings, especially as indoor sports have brought students, players, families, and refs into gyms and common areas. Now is the time for school officials to make sure they are on top of their game when it comes to indoor air quality (IAQ). Fresh, circulated air becomes vital to helping players, coaches, and visitors remain healthy.
Did you know, in a survey of U.S. office workers, only a third of the respondents felt like their workplace monitors Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) continuously or often?

Multiple IAQ concerns exist among U.S. workers, according to the poll. The results also showed:
  • 82 percent are more worried about IAQ given the rise of new COVID-19 variants
  • 77 percent agree that indoor air is less healthy to breathe than outdoor air
  • 65 percent say they’re ready to leave their job if their employer doesn’t take steps to create a healthier indoor environment

While ideas like healthy buildings have existed for decades, COVID-19 threw a spotlight on the need to incorporate systems into buildings that will preserve health. All of this has led to the HVAC industry being perceived increasingly as belonging in the topic of keeping people healthy, and not as simply one of the necessary systems for building operation.
