But even with a steady income, stable housing remained out of reach.

When Dominic returned to Keys to Change for housing support, he was connected with Outreach Specialist Michael P.—a dedicated advocate committed to making a difference. Listening to Dominic’s story, Michael recognized his resilience and drive. With determination and the financial support of the Keys to Change flex funding program, Michael helped Dominic secure an apartment. After signing the lease, Michael handed Dominic the keys—a powerful moment marking the start of a new chapter in Dominic’s life.

For Dominic, this was the long-awaited reward for his perseverance.
