DominionPartnershipNight
Dominion Partnership Night
Wednesday, October 23rd

Partnership Night will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd.

Not only has this event been moved from its traditional early November timeframe, but we have also completely re-envisioned the event so that we can more deliberately intervene on behalf of students.

In light of this more strategic approach, our teachers will be engaged in more structured parent conferences and will not be available for drop-in conversations that evening.

However, we will feature presentations that evening of general interest to parents throughout the community, including the Partners for Safe Teen Driving workshop that will begin that evening at 7pm.

Information regarding additional general informational sessions will be forthcoming.
Dominion High School
Student Event Admission Program

This fall, ATLAS and Dominion High School are working in partnership to offer every DHS student the opportunity to attend every DHS theatre performance and DHS regular season athletic event free of charge.

Our objectives for this bold, first of its kind initiative in Loudoun County Public Schools, are twofold:
  • First, school events enrich the student experience and we want to be sure that each and every Titan has access to these rich opportunities, regardless of the availability of financial resources
  • Secondly, our students and athletes work tirelessly to perform at the highest level possible. These efforts should be supported and appreciated by their peers.

As parents, you play two important roles
in supporting this pilot program.

Most importantly, we ask you to educate your Titan on the

importance of showing up to enjoy the rich experiences of high school, while selflessly supporting their peers.

Please encourage your student to be present, engaged, and positive in their appreciation of the efforts of their fellow Titans.

Secondly, consider supporting our efforts to offset the revenue that we are not collecting for admission. To find out how you can help, please email us at [email protected]

ATLAS Meeting and Volunteer Fair

The next ATLAS Meeting is on
Wednesday, November 13th.

At 7 PM there will be a Student Volunteer Fair for your TITAN.  ATLAS will be bringing in representatives from local  volunteer groups.

We invite you and your student to come and learn more. All TITAN's are encouraged to volunteer and give back in our community.

The Volunteer Fair will be followed by the ATLAS meeting.

**If you are involved with a Volunteer Group that you feel would like to participate, please contact ATLAS at
SCA Update

You may have noticed that SCA had a big role to play in the successful planning and celebration of Homecoming, but SCA is more than that.

SCA (which is also known as Leadership Class) is focusing on strengthening the leadership skills of the students in the class by reading "Leaders Eat Last" and evaluating how, as a class, they can more effectively communicate with the student body.

SCA also runs the Inter-Club Council (ICC) which meets once a month with a representative from each club. At these meetings, they collaborate to discuss how they can work together to make DHS run as smoothly as possible.

The  ICC Is running a Trunk or Treat event on
Monday, October 28th from 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
If your TITAN's club would like to be involved, please contact SCA President Katelyn Newell or   Mr Burns

Titan Coffee House

Titan Coffee House is a special program that provides a warm drink and a quick bite to eat to all DHS Students prior to the first bell.

This year the student response
has been  incredible!

TCH is hosting between 150 - 200 TITANS per day.
We love it!

This program is 100% supported by parent donations - TCH does not currently have any business partnerships. In order to keep the program going, we need support.
You can sign up to donate at

or just send supplies in to the school with your student. They can be dropped off in the main office.

Some items we always need are:
Hot Chocolate Packets
Granola or Cereal Bars
Large Boxes of Cereal
Dixie Hot Cups with Lids (10 or 12 oz)
**Any donation helps!**

Also, if you know of a business that may want to partner with TCH to donate food or supplies, please contact  ATLAS

Local representatives from the Military, First Responders, the Loudoun County Sheriff's office, the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars were recognized and presented with gifts.

In addition it was the first time Dominion Volleyball has been honored by the presence of the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad Honor Guard who presented the Colors during the National Anthem. The  National Anthem was sung by our own DHS Choir.
