Our minds are powerful beasts but not always acting in our best interest. If I am not careful mine will just take off in an often negative direction and drag me with it. If I were to believe everything that goes on up there I would never get off the couch or write another word.

But as with every behavioral change, the first step is awareness. This week I have identified some of the nastier personas in the upstairs apartment. You can read about them in the MICRO FICTION section below.

Also, this week marked the end of the first season of Dickens Meets Puss'n'Boots. You can find all chapters, including the last (for now) of CATARIN IN LOUBOUTIN, in the METHOD WRITING section.

As always, THANK YOU for subscribing, and if you don't fix it here.

GRANDY'S BOOK CLUB

SUNDAY, JUNE 20TH, 11 AM PDT

As you might know, I owe a lot of my courage and tenacity to Campowerment and its Grand Ole Dame, Grandy, who is now watching over us from the other side.

I am therefore super stoked to be at Grandy's Book Club at CAMPOWERMENT.COM on June 20th, 11 AM PDT, to discuss MOMENTS OF LIVVY.

If you are interested in unlimited sisterhood and growth online and IRL, you can join Campowerment here. Sign up for Grandy's Book Club via this link.

And you can, of course, get the book on my website here.

WHAT I AM...

IGDoylePod.jpg

Glennon Doyle has been a spirit guide of mine for a long time but cemented her position as such with her book UNTAMED that came out in March 2020. Above anything else, she allows everyone (me included) to be themselves by fiercely embracing herself as she is. Needless to say, I am gulping up her new podcast, WE CAN DO HARD THINGS on Spotify.

There isn't enough time in the day for all the podcasts I love. Another one of those is WORK LIFE with Adam Grant, on which I learn so much about how we relate to each other in group settings. On top of that, Adam Grant is the master of information graphics, just ROFL funny. All of it is good, but if I were to recommend one episode, it would be the one with Glennon Doyle, where they talk about labels and identity.

ARE WE GOING STEADY YET?

IF NOT, WHY DON'T YOU SUBSCRIBE?
