Time is running out! Register now for the stand-alone FAFP Virtual ABFM KSA Study Group: Pain Medicine that will be presented via Zoom on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 6:30pm-9:00pm EST. CLICK HERE to register today. The registration deadline is next Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11:59pm EST.

You will earn 10 certification points and 8 enduring (not live) CME credits after successful completion of each KSA; ABFM will award these certification points and enduring CME credits.

2024 Spring Forum – Early Bird Discount Ends March 6

The FAFP room rate is available until March 13, or until the room block is full. Parking: Attendees staying at the Signia by Hilton will receive a daily discounted rate of $18 for overnight self-parking. Optional overnight valet parking is available for $52 per day. Attendees who are staying off property will have the option to self-park for $36 per day or valet for $52 per day.

FL Medical Loan Reimbursement Application Process is OPEN!

FAFP members eligible for the Florida Reimbursement Assistance for Medical Education Program (FRAME) assistance must submit their application before March 31 to determine if they qualify to receive up to $20,000 for medical loan repayment. The FAFP will continue to remind members of this opportunity but do not delay in applying!

Capitol Update - Week 7

The legislature concluded week 7 of the 9-week legislative session with each chamber taking final action on the other’s priority issues. Of specific interest to FAFP members is that Senate President Passidomo’s Live Healthy Initiative (SB 7016 and SB 7018) has passed both chambers and has been sent to the Governor for signing. Click Here to read the specifics of this legislation and how the roughly $716 million in funding can benefit Florida's family physicians. Also, many thanks to FAFP Board member Dr. Mike Cromer for serving as Doctor of the Day on February 20.
