Physicians Lead in Loan Repayment Applications
According to officials from the FRAME program (Florida Reimbursement Assistance for Medical Education), 4,300 accounts have been created with 305 applications being completed. Of the 305, applications per eligible participants are represented as follows: 32% physicians, 27% RNs, 21% APRNs, and 20% PAs (approximately). As a reminder, only primary care physicians and providers who practice in underserved locations of the state are eligible to receive an award of up to $20,000 to offset student loan debts for their medical education. For any questions or concerns not included or answered on the website, DoH staff encourages family physicians to reach out directly by emailing [email protected].

CLICK HERE to access the portal. Deadline for applications is March 31, 2023. Ensuring all $6 million in funding is awarded will help substantiate the need for the legislature to reappropriate funding in 2023 and beyond - so don't delay in applying!
