The Center for Exceptional Families wants to make life better for students with disabilities, especially those aged 14-26 who are moving from school to adult life. We have workshops, training, resources, and four newsletters each year with helpful information.

Meet TATE, our Teen Adult Transition Expert (TATE).

TATE will give you important facts, vocabulary, and info related to Living, Learning, and Working Independently. TATE was created by a teen with a disability specifically for this purpose!

Independent Futures That Work

This is a multi-state project with a goal to work together with families, schools, and other organizations to help teens and adults with disabilities plan their futures!
