Mid-Year Residence Experience Survey 2025-2026
We want to hear from you! All students living in Residence will soon receive an individual survey link via their Queen’s email to share confidential feedback about their Don. Please take a few minutes and provide your honest input to support performance evaluations and help guide improvements in Residence. Thank you for helping us make Residence an even more supportive and inclusive place to live and learn.
| | |
Check your email and complete your student housing survey for a chance to win a prize!
This is a friendly reminder for those students selected to participate in the Queen’s student housing survey – the survey should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. If you started your survey but were unable to complete it in one sitting, you can click on the survey link in the email to pick up where you left off.
| |
Complete your survey and you will be able to opt-in to a draw to win one of the following prizes:
- One (1) of three (3) Apple iPad A16
- One (1) of two (2) Apple AirPods 4
- One (1) of five (5) $100 Flex $ gift cards to be used at Queen’s University dining locations
Winners will be drawn at random from those who fully complete this survey.
This study looks at the choices students make in their accommodations (both on and off-campus) while studying at Queen’s. You will be asked about the types of facilities and amenities you have or might want, and how much you are paying and able to pay for accommodation. What you share will help guide the university in making decisions about adding more on-campus housing.

Sustainable tip of the week!
Mail deliveries create significant packaging waste. When possible, shop locally to reduce packaging waste and transportation-related emissions from online orders.

Conduct Corner: Have fun without damaging your community
Damaging Residence facilities, such as pulling down ceiling tiles, damaging sinks, and tampering with bathroom stalls, isn’t just a harmless prank—it’s dangerous, disruptive, and costly for everyone.
Ceiling tiles, for example, are part of the fire and life safety system, designed to help prevent harmful gases and smoke from spreading in case of an emergency. Damaging bathrooms inconveniences your entire community by making essential facilities unusable and creating unnecessary repair costs.
These behaviours violate your Residence Contract (clause 4.10.10) and can lead to serious consequences, including points and restitution charges if you are held responsible.
Instead of risking harm to your community, celebrate and have fun by participating in sanctioned events and Residence-wide programming. Let's keep the fun safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone.
