Join us October 8-11 in Jamestown, New York – home of the National Comedy Center and the Lucy Desi Museum – as we explore “Humor’s Role in Helping People to Better Cope, Communicate and Connect.”

“Enlighten Up!”  Skillfully combining wit and wisdom with information and insight, Humor Camp serves to bring more fun, more play, more joy and more laughter into our personal and professional lives... while also sharing WHY it is beneficial to do so.

It is Humor Camp’s mission… To provide a joyful, informative, mindful and social multi-day exploration of Humor’s role in connecting and enriching both our personal and professional lives.

Meet the Humor Camp Leadership Team

Anne Pratt took the long and winding road to become Executive Director of the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy and the Lothian and Red Skelton Gallery of Fine Arts. She began as a kindergarten teacher in suburban Chicago where she quickly learned that everything you truly need to know really is taught before recess.

After 4 moves, 4 children, and the heartbreaking loss of her husband at 43, Anne chose resilience over retreat and relocated to Indiana to be near family. Armed with a can-do spirit – and zero museum experience – she stepped into leadership at the Red Skelton Museum Foundation. Fifteen years later, she’s still proving that humor heals and laughter connects visitors from around the world.

Need CEU’s?  Last year, Humor Camp offered 7.5 Continuing Education credits approved (nationally) by the American Psychological Association and, in New York, by the New York Education Boards for Social Work, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Psychologists and Marriage and Family Therapists.  Stay tuned for news of this year’s CEU-approved issuing entities... and how many hours!

This October, Jamestown (Lucy’s birthplace) and the world will be celebrating the 75thanniversary of “I Love Lucy.”  Our host city and the 2 museums will be bustling with plenty of festive anniversary activity.  Do you love Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethel?  What better additional reason do you need to come to Humor Camp 2026?  Tell your friends.  Bring your co-workers.  Spread the news!

In today’s world where it seems that nothing (or everything) is funny… in today’s world where mental health challenges are abundantly accelerating and the social, emotional skills essential to making genuine, human connections are dangerously declining…

We need Help.
