During holiday meal cleanup, Marina Coast Water District reminds you to keep Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) out of your drain.
🤶🏼 Instead of pouring grease down the kitchen sink, pour cooled cooking oil into a metal container, then place it in the trash.
🤶🏼 Before you wash pots and pans, wipe away FOG and dispose of FOG-laden paper towels in the trash.
🤶🏼 Scrape food scraps from dishes into the trash or compost bin instead of rinsing them down the sink.
🤶🏼 Place strainers in your sink drains to catch food particles and empty the strainer into the trash.
