Ice Rink will not open due to permitting delays
With deep regret, Ashland Parks and Recreation announces that the Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink will not open this season due to ongoing permitting delays needed for its long-term future.

Q: Where can I find information on trash and recycling services during the holidays?
A: Recology Ashland oversees trash and recycling for the residents of Ashland. Typically, they do not run service on legal holidays. See the full answer.
Q: How can I recycle my Christmas tree?
A: Ashland Scout Troop 112’s 40th Annual Christmas Tree-Cycling Day is Saturday, January 10, 2026. Please have your trees at the curb in front of your house for pick up by Friday evening, January 9. (This service is for the City of Ashland only.) See the full answer.

Ashland just made recycling history. The first RecycleOn center/bin in the U.S. is now open, making it easier to recycle tricky items and shifting costs from residents to companies that produce packaging materials. Learn more.
