BUBBLEMANIA!


You've got to experience Casey Carle and Bubblemania! He will amaze you with the most incredible bubbles you’ve ever seen and will teach you science too!


Mr. Carle delights audiences everywhere with his amazing bubble tricks and his humor! He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and attended the Ringling Bros. Clown College. An East Haddam resident, Mr. Carle regularly tours the Northeast and venues throughout the US. He has performed in over 10 countries, including Mexico, China, Switzerland, Russia, and India.


The program is Free and appropriate for all ages. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

A World Without Dark Skies: How Light Pollution is Impacting Humans and Ecosystems


Learn about light pollution in the Connecticut River Valley and the effects of an artificially brightened night sky, including the impact on natural cycles in aquatic and terrestrial life.


Join Misha Semenov-Leiva and Alan Sheiness for a fascinating presentation in partnership with the East Haddam Sustainability Committee! Alan Sheiness is founder of the Lyme Land Trust Astronomy program. He is a promoter of dark skies and is an amateur astrophotographer. Misha Semenov-Leiva is a board member of the CT River Gateway Commission. He is Senior Architect & Sustainability Coordinator with Centerbrook Architects. 


Location: East Haddam Historical Society & Museum, 264 Town St.

Free for members and children 12 and under; suggested donation of $5.00 for non-members.

Refreshments will follow the presentation.
