 February Events in Highwood: Spill Sessions, Bingo & Solus

We do not normally send mid-month updates, but February in Highwood is full of activity and we did not want you to miss these upcoming events.

From thoughtful conversation to community fun to internationally recognized art, there is something for everyone in the weeks ahead. We hope you will join us.

Spill Sessions

Wednesday, February 18 | 6 to 8 PM

Beermiscuous, 552 Sheridan Road, Highwood

Spill Sessions is our curated cultural series designed to bring thoughtful conversation into Highwood’s restaurants and bars. In recognition of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday month, Daniel Weinberg of the Abraham Lincoln Book Shop and Roxana Uskali of Heritage Auctions will lead an intimate conversation on how coins, letters, photographs, and everyday objects become powerful pieces of history.



This is a small-room experience designed for real questions and discovery. Bring a coin or two, or come empty-handed.

Tickets are forty dollars and include your first drink and lite bites provided by Arianna Hirsch, North Shore Chef. Seating is limited.

Bingo at Buffo’s

Join us for Bingo at Buffo’s, one of our most enjoyable community gatherings. Spend a lively Sunday afternoon with friends, good food, and a little friendly competition in the heart of Highwood.

Bingo packs are twenty-five dollars. This is a Chamber fundraiser, and your participation helps support our year-round programs and events.

International Irish Street Artist Solus in Highwood

Opening Reception

Collect With Lulu and Silvertuna Studios

524 Sheridan Road, Highwood

Highwood welcomes internationally recognized Irish street artist Solus for a special evening at Collect With Lulu and Silvertuna Studios. Visiting from Ireland, Solus will share new limited edition and original works during an intimate meet and greet with the community.

Known for luminous color palettes and themes of connection and hope, Solus has created large-scale public murals across Europe, North America, and Asia. His work has been collected by Bono and Christina Aguilera and he has partnered with brands including Jameson, Sony, Adidas, Universal Studios, and Vodafone.



Refreshments will be provided by Lynfred Winery.
