Dear Gretchen,

June’s desert temps may be climbing, but we’re keeping things refreshingly cool indoors at the Palm Springs Air Museum on June 19 for our Annual Membership Appreciation Party! It’s our chance to celebrate YOU, our members, whose energy and support have powered the DVBA for 15 incredible years. Join us for cool vibes, icy refreshments, and a heartfelt thank-you as we honor the community you’ve helped build.

As we prepare to celebrate this milestone, I’m also heading to Washington D.C. this week for the NAHB Spring Leadership Conference. I’ll be meeting with Congressmen Ruiz and Calvert, as well as other members of California’s Congressional delegation, to advocate on behalf of our members and continue building strong partnerships at the federal level to support our industry’s growth.

I hope to see you on June 19, let’s celebrate 15 years of building together!

Sincerely,

Gretchen Gutierrez

Chief Executive Officer, DVBA

Keep Cool and Save: SoCal Edison's Smart Energy Program

Summer’s soaring temperatures don’t have to mean skyrocketing energy costs. SoCal Edison’s Smart Energy Program automatically nips peak-demand spikes by nudging qualifying smart thermostats up to four degrees—without you lifting a finger (and you can always override it if you get too toasty). Enroll by June 1 to grab a $75 bill credit, earn up to $40 more in seasonal credits, and score a $30 rebate when you recycle your old thermostat.
