The FAFP's next installment of its COVID-19 webinar series entitled "COVID-19 Updates for Family Medicine 2021: Testing, Treatment, and Vaccinations" will be presented on Thursday, February 4, 2021, from 8:00-9:00 pm ET. Join Drs. Daniel Van Durme and Julia Weeks as they discuss new developments in COVID-19 vaccinations and vaccination strategies. This 1-hour webinar will be offered as a CME internet live course, not enduring. To earn CME credit for this webinar, you must be a FAFP member.

Recruiting Physicians for Florida HPV Vaccine Study
The University of Florida (UF) is currently recruiting physician clinics to participate in an NIH-funded study to improve HPV vaccination rates. Training to include a one-hour, in clinic group session with pre/post surveys (CME approved) reviewing efficient strategies to talk to parents about the HPV vaccines. MOC4 credit offered. UF is targeting clinics who have approximately seventy (70) 11- to 12-year-old patients annually and HPV vaccine initiation among 13- to 17-year-olds < 68%.

Have You Registered to Provide the COVID Vaccine?
The State of Florida is encouraging physicians and medical practices to register to provide COVID Vaccine to your patients. Although there is not a sufficient supply available, readiness preparations are in progress. To become a COVID-19 vaccine provider, your organization must be enrolled in Florida SHOTS and the Vaccines for Children/Adult Program.
