July is Sandwich Generation Month
The sandwich generation is comprised of adult children who are caring for both a parent and children of their own. It's an extremely challenging position to be in! If your senior loved one is suddenly in need of a little more help, and you are financially committed to the support of your children, then becoming a full-time caregiver is not a viable option. Professional in-home care might be the next best thing.

Facing reality is tough. Your aging parent needs you more than ever. Maybe Mom gets confused and moody, especially in the evenings. Angels Who Soar: Celebrating Our Hardworking Employees
We are so proud of our wonderful, hard-working employees who go beyond the call of duty. Below is why our Angels are so special...
Carla A. has been an outstanding Angel since August 2016. Carla is a friendly aide whose skills and professional attitude demonstrate that tough assignments are never an issue for her. She rarely calls out, turns in duty sheets on time, is very thorough in her care of our clients, and is a nice person to be around. Clients comment positively on her exceptional care.
Alice N. has been one of our go-to live-in/fill-in caregivers since February 2017. She has not only gone the extra mile for our clients, but for the office team, as well. For example, when we needed several back-to-back assignments recently, she accepted them graciously. Many of our live-in clients have requested having her back again when they need a fill-in because of her friendly professionalism.
We are grateful for you and thank you for your hard work, Carla and Alice!

Ebony and Regina were excellent caregivers to my dad! I am truly grateful for their compassionate help and support during the last days of his illness. Visiting Angels has always been my go-to resource for help with my dad and, as always, I was not disappointed. Many thanks to you and everyone at Visiting Angels for making a terrible situation a bit better."

About Our Care
Visiting Angels
is a New Jersey-licensed and accredited, non-medical home care company committed to going beyond the "industry standard" to provide an exceptional level of security, comfort and peace of mind to our clients and their families. Our "Angels", all
certified home health professionals
, are ready to provide assistance with the activities of daily living to seniors, the disabled, those recovering from surgery, and to those who are simply frail. Our
services
include tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and shopping, to more personal tasks such as hygiene assistance, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Visiting Angels
' in-home care helps make it possible for seniors and other adults to continue living at home safely. We understand how challenging the home care selection process can be. We're experienced in working with families, with loved ones resistant to receiving care, and with third-parties payors (such as insurance companies and the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs).
Visiting Angels' services
help families spend more mutually-rewarding and meaningful time with their loved ones and also helps provide comfort and peace of mind to those who face the challenges of long-distance caregiving.
