The Pick-up Line

An older-looking gentleman--in his mid-nineties, very well dressed, hair well groomed, great looking suit, flower in his lapel, smelling slightly of a good after shave, presenting a well-looked-after image--walks into an upscale cocktail lounge.

Seated at the bar is an older-looking lady.

The gentleman walks over, sits alongside her, orders a drink, takes a sip, turns to her and says, "So tell me, do I come here often?"

testimonialWe're Delighted to Hear from Families About Our Exceptional Care!

A Satisfied Client's Review:

"My grandmother loves her Visiting Angel, and so do we. She always takes care of my grandmother as though she were her own relative. She's always busy in my grandmother's room, cleaning and re-arranging to make it nice for her. We also love that she shuts off the TV to interact with my grandmother--sets her hair, does her nails, and also helps me with other chores around the house. Gold Star to Visiting Angels!"

angelsAngels Who Soar: Celebrating Our Hardworking Employees

We are so proud of our wonderful, hard-working employees who go beyond the call of duty. Below is why our Angels are so special...

Babajide K. has been one of our live-in Angels since August 2017. Clients have commented on his engaging way with them--he takes the time to really get to know them; he truly cares about them, personally. He is professional and efficient with providing personal care. Babajide is eager to work, and has recently done last-minute hourly and live-in fill-ins at times when we needed an Angel urgently. We truly appreciate Babajide's care and willingness to do what it takes to make sure our clients are happy!

Barbara K. has been with Visiting Angels since November 2018. During this time, she has been a star Angel! Procedure-wise, she's on point: she's on-time to assignments, turns in her weekly duty sheets (required by ALL aides), and rarely calls out. Clients have commented on her pleasant demeanor, likeable personality, and willingness to do above and beyond what is asked of her. Barbara has proven herself worthy of handling challenging assignments in a professional way.

We are grateful for you and thank you for your hard work, Babajide and Barbara!

AboutOurCareAbout Our Care

Visiting Angels is a New Jersey-licensed, non-medical home care company committed to going beyond the "industry standard" to provide an exceptional level of security, comfort and peace of mind to our clients and their families. Our "Angels", all certified home health professionals , are ready to provide assistance with the activities of daily living to seniors, the disabled, those recovering from surgery, and to those who are simply frail. Our services include tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and shopping, to more personal tasks such as hygiene assistance, bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Visiting Angels ' in-home care helps make it possible for seniors and other adults to continue living at home safely. We understand how challenging the home care selection process can be. We're experienced in working with families, with loved ones resistant to receiving care, and with third-parties payors (such as insurance companies and the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs).

Visiting Angels' services help families spend more mutually-rewarding and meaningful time with their loved ones and also helps provide comfort and peace of mind to those who face the challenges of long-distance caregiving.
