Our Younger Youth Summer Experience Program is gearing up for another season of empowerment and skill-building, and we need your help to reach potential participants.
Our program, tailored for 14-15-year-olds, focuses on personal well-being, career exploration, and work readiness. Through creative projects, participants delve into areas of interest, explore career options, and develop essential skills for the future. Whether working independently or in small groups, every participant is encouraged to unleash their potential and bring their ideas to life.
Your support and involvement are crucial in ensuring that we reach young individuals who could benefit from this experience. By joining forces, we can create a nurturing environment where every young person has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
Act now because the application deadline is March 1, 2024.
If you know of any young individuals who would benefit from participating in our program this summer, please follow the directions below. Please note at the end of the SYEP application, the young person must choose to join the SYEP Community Program, and then choose New York Center for Interpersonal Development as their primary provider. NYCID is serving Staten Island, Brooklyn, and the Bronx this summer.
If you have any questions, our team is also having an information session on Tuesday at 6:00 PM where you can ask questions or fill out an application with a NYCID staff person directly.
