The first meeting of the joint NIA/Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) Standards Committee (SC) 27, Mechanical Insulation, is Apr. 9 at the AMPP Annual Conference & Expo in Nashville, 2:30 p.m. CT.

NIA Advocates for the Industry on Building Energy Codes

NIA joined a core group of construction industry and energy efficiency organizations in a joint letter to the Appropriations Committees of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate to seek continued federal investment in model building energy codes.

Plan Now for Next Month: Construction Safety Week

NIA is proud to be an Advocate for Construction Safety Week 2025, taking place May 5–9. Safety Week, which started in 2014, is an annual weeklong campaign to inspire everyone across the construction industry to be leaders in safety. This year’s theme is All In Together, which will focus on three key pillars: Plan–Own–Commit. Participants can access and download tools and resources for planning activities for the week, including tips, best practices, and materials to support company events and communication.
