The UNICO Merrimack Valley golf tournament benefits Greater Lawrence Charities and provide funds for scholarships to students entering college. Through the generosity of our members and sponsors, we have donated over $1 million dollars in support of our local community. Our ancestors came to the United States seeking a better life. They formed social clubs in their new country to support one another. Their descendants have achieved success beyond their wildest imaginations. By supporting the Annual Golf Tournament, you are keeping alive the tradition of Service Above Self.

Raffle Information:

Friends of Italian Americans (FIA) is raffling off two golfer spots on the Friends of Italian American golf team during the upcoming 36th Annual UNICO Golf Tournament at the Haverhill Golf & Country Club in Haverhill, MA.

This year we’re proud to be Platinum sponsors for the 36th Annual UNICO Golf Tournament and we’re offering you and a golf partner of your choice the chance to join our official foursome and represent FIA on the course. Mike Daigle, President of Friends of Italian Americans, and Bob Gagalis, Treasurer of Friends of Italian Americans, will join you on the green.

Proceeds from this raffle ticket promotion will go to Friends of Italian Americans to support the preservation and protection of Italian American culture and history in New Hampshire.

Raffle Details:

Tickets: $75 per entry.
Ticket sales begin on July 9th, 2025 and end on August 29th, 2025 at 1pm.
Includes: Two golfer spots on the Friends of Italian Americans golf tournament, golfer registration, cart, lunch and awards dinner the day of tournament ($550 value).
Drawing: Winner will be announced on August 29th, 2025 at 1:00pm (EST). Must be at least 18 years of age to enter. One winner will be drawn by a Friends of Italian Americans representative using an electronic random number generator and validated as random before final assignment as the prize winner.

Italian Language Teacher Needed in Concord, NH

Language Trainers Corporation has reached out to Friends of Italian Americans to recruit an Italian language teacher who can commit to a 30-hour course for a single student. The course will be broken down to 2-hours per week, typically mid-morning.

GLENDI: 46th Annual Greek Festival

Join us in celebrating Greek culture and heritage! GLENDI Festival is a 3-day cultural celebration hosted on the grounds of the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester, NH. GLENDI showcases Greek cuisine, jewelry, coffee shops serving Greek demitasse, Greek clothing, beer and wine, and so much more! People voted GLENDI the BEST in 2025 in the Best Food Festival category (Hippo Press).

In effort to increase Friends of Italian Americans membership, we will host an informational table at GLENDI for the 46th Annual Greek Festival. Join us in celebrating Greek culture and heritage at the event from September 12th to 14th, 2025.
