2021 Sail Canada Registration for Officials

Last week, Sail Canada sent out email communication to officials. Sail Canada wants to ensure that the profiles are up to date for all active officials, and therefore they have implemented annual registration of officials to ensure the accuracy of the information they have on file. In addition, annual registration provides an opportunity for officials to review and sign off on the officials’ code of conduct. This process helps them meet their funding requirements with Sport Canada, their largest funding partner. There is no cost for completing your registration and we ask that all Sail Canada Officials take a few minutes to complete this process at their earliest convenience.

As part of implementing the Officials Registration process, the Officials Search function on www.sailing.ca has been adjusted and will only show Sail Canada Officials who have met all certification requirements and completed their Officials Registration for 2021.

Full details on the above requirements can be found on the Sail Canada Officials Program Pages linked here.

You will see an option for Officials Registration when you access your profile.
