Shelly will be on hand Wednesday evenings to field any and all of your gardening questions. From insects on your tomato plants, to starting seeds indoors, to constructing raised beds to what varieties grow best in our area, she'll work with you to find answers to your questions.

Book & Author Luncheon

Bald Peak Colony Club
Best-selling authors Keith O’Brien and David Reynolds will be the featured speakers at the Friends of the Wolfeboro Public Library’s 40th annual Book & Author Luncheon, set for Friday, June 6, at Bald Peak Colony Club. Reservations are now open for the event which offers attendees not only the opportunity to see and hear first-hand from these two notable authors but a chance to support the library.
If you’d like to attend, fill out and return a reservation form by May 23. There’s a link to the form at wolfeborolibrary.org or you can pick up a copy at the library. Cost of the luncheon is $65 per person. Any questions can be directed to Ann Pratt at annp7575@gmail.com.

Growing Great Perennials
with Master Gardener Sarah Matlock

Perennials reward the gardener with plants that come back year after year. They're available in a near-limitless number of shapes, colors, and forms providing beauty throughout the season. Sarah's presentation will include a discussion of plants suited to New Hampshire's climate, growing tips specific to perennials, and a look at old favorites and new varieties. There will be time for Q and A's too.

Hedgehog Book Folding Craft

Best for ages 10 to adult
Turn trash into treasure! We will teach you how to take a worn-out old book and turn it into an adorable folded hedgehog! Once you've finished folding, you can get creative adding finishing touches to your hedgehog. This craft requires some manual dexterity and the ability to do repetitive folding for half an hour or more, so we recommend this craft for ages 10-adult. However, parents can use their judgement on their child's abilities. Register here.
