October at DayBreak
FYI : The monthly Caregiver Support Group has a new permanent location beginning this month- Tuesday, October 1st at 4:30pm at the WP Public Library. We will be gathering in one of our former locations- the Board Room on the 3rd floor. We will continue to meet the 1st Tuesday of each month in this new space. The group is open to all caregivers- those caregiving at home or across town, long distance caregivers, those who have a loved one in a care community, or other care partnering situations. Please join us for sharing and support. Everyone is welcome.

Volunteer Spotlight:
Jared Brady
"I was born in California and moved to Woodland Park in 2002. I graduated high school in 2017 and I am now a graphic designer and artist, painting the landscapes and figures of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. I have been volunteering at DayBreak for several years as one of the facilitators (along with fellow artist Ann Snipes and my mom, Amanda) of the Alzheimer’s Association's Memories in the Making, a group art program that encourages creativity, communication and community through twice-a-month watercolor painting sessions. It has been an uplifting experience spending time with my DayBreak Friends. They are so kind and warm and always have a story and a smile to share. And they are amazing artists! If you haven’t had a chance to see their artwork, stop by DayBreak and see their paintings on display."
