The program offers information to local high school juniors and seniors considering admission to Penn State, and students who have already been offered admission to the University.  

 

Hear about the options and opportunities at Penn State, speak with faculty, and interact with students, staff, and alumni. A financial aid Q&A session will also be part of the program.

BACC  RHS degree

   

Students can now finish seven different bachelor's degree programs at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Just this fall, Corporate Communication and Rehabilitation and Human Services were added to the roster.

Corporate Communication | Major Overview - The Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication prepares students for public information and media relations positions in profit and non-profit organizations. The program is distinguished by its cross-disciplinary course work in business, information systems, human behavior, and oral, written, and visual communication. In addition, there is a required field experience. The B.A. provides a broad foundation in business principles, including team projects and problem solving; ethics; oral, written and visual communication skills; and psychology. The major is designed to prepare students for a variety of career fields including human resources, public relations, training and development, and public information.

Rehabilitation and Human Services | Major Overview - The Rehabilitation and Human Services (RHS) Bachelor of Science degree prepares students for entry-level positions in a variety of human service settings, especially those serving people with physical, mental, alcohol and other drug, and cognitive disabilities. Students enter employment in a variety of settings including: programs for children and youth, drug and alcohol programs, senior citizen programs, community mental health programs, community mental retardation programs, rehabilitation centers, corrections systems, and hospitals.
