Thanksgiving Recap

Birdseed Collective helped support local families this Thanksgiving through a turkey giveaway. At the Globeville Recreation Center, Birdseed Collective partnered with community organizations to distribute 200 turkey boxes, ensuring families had what they needed for a holiday meal. In a second effort, Globeville First hosted another giveaway at the 5090 Recreation Center, where approximately 75 turkeys were provided to neighbors ahead of the holiday.

Both events offered support to families across the community during the Thanksgiving season!

Thank You for Supporting Kenzie's Causes

Thank you to everyone in the GES community who donated gifts for Kenzie’s Causes this season. Your generosity helped support their annual Denver Toy Shop, where 3,579 children and 1,361 families received new toys and holiday gifts this year. In total, 12,767 items were distributed, including toys, stuffed animals, blankets, socks, and card games!

Denver North Business Association Holiday Party

The Denver North Business Association recently hosted their annual Holiday Party, bringing together local businesses, neighbors, and community partners for an evening of connection and celebration. The event also served a meaningful purpose; all funds raised throughout the night were donated to support several local nonprofits!

It was a great opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate the season, and give back to organizations making a positive impact in our area.

Partnership Spotlight: Compost Colorado
