With the semester wrapping up and finals right around the corner, it is easy to push everything else aside-but this is actually one of the most strategic times to think ahead. Mission Possible: Internship Experience | On the Job Success is your chance to walk into summer feeling prepared, confident, and ready to make the most of any opportunity you step into. This workshop breaks down internship success into key missions: how to make a strong first impression, communicate with confidence, manage your time, and avoid common workplace missteps. Think of this as your reset to think about after finals. A chance to shift from just getting through the semester to setting yourself up for what comes next. Learn what to do (and what not to do) so you can maximize your internship and move forward with intention.

Prep for the Handshake Virtual Career Fair!

How to Stand Out at a Virtual Career Fair

Succeeding in a virtual career fair is all about preparation and professional presence. Start by researching the employers you’re most excited about so you can ask tailored, interesting questions. Ensure your space is set up properly: good lighting, a plain background, and a solid internet connection go a long way in making you look confident and qualified. Additionally, have a 30-second introduction ready—who you are, what you’re studying, and what you’re looking for—so you can easily jump into conversation. Finally, keep your resume handy, follow up with recruiters afterward, and treat every interaction like an interview. Your effort can turn a virtual fair into real opportunities.

Learn essential steps to successfully navigate a virtual career fair.
