****Please note, that this event will be a week earlier than our usual monthly luncheons.
Saint Paul Public School's mission statement is "Inspire students to think critically, pursue their dreams and change the world.”".
Learn firsthand what changes Dr. Joe Gothard, Superintendant of St. Paul Public Schools, is implementing to make this statement a reality.
As the second largest school district in the state with 37,000 students and a staff of 5,000, Dr. Gothard will share his insights as well as plans for success.

Midway Chamber Safety Policy:
The Midway Chamber of Commerce adheres to the guidelines set forth by each event venue and any additional government policy in effect.
The Midway Chamber will have facemasks available, as well as hand sanitizer available at all in-person events.

As a follow up to the luncheon, as we continue encouraging the support of local restaurants and breweries, The Lab will be doing a beer tasting and education class for the Midway Chamber on Thursday, November 4th at 4pm! This event will have limited capacity on a first come first serve basis. Be sure to sign up early as spots will fill fast!

Xcel unveils goal of carbon-neutral natural gas by 2050
Xcel Energy is aiming for "net-zero" carbon emissions from its natural gas system by 2050, an ambitious goal but one with steep challenges. The company joined just a handful of U.S. gas utilities Monday by announcing plans to extricate carbon in Minnesota and other states — including by replacing some gas with hydrogen, a cleaner alternative. Hamline Midway Coalition Annual Meeting

The Hamline Midway Coalition is looking forward to our Annual Meeting and celebrating another year representing the Hamline Midway neighborhood as St. Paul District Council 11. We will spotlight the work of the board, committees,community members, and partner organizations across the many initiatives taking place in our neighborhood.
To best display and honor the many projects taking place within our district boundaries, we invite the Midway Chamber of Commerce to host a table/booth where neighbors can stop by to learn more about your work in the community. For the virtual portion, we request you share a couple of PowerPoint slides about your organization/project that staff will present to online attendees. If you are interested in participating, let us know and we can provide further details.
We greatly appreciate your efforts to improve the quality of life in the Hamline Midway and can't wait to celebrate this great work later this month!
